Cachipay is a municipality and town located in the Tequendama Province within the department of Cundinamarca, Colombia. It is situated approximately 53 kilometres (33 mi) east of the capital city, Bogotá.
The town shares borders with Quipile to the west, Zipacón to the east, Anolaima to the north, and La Mesa to the south.
