Tuluá is an industrial and commercial city located in the heart of the Valle del Cauca department in Colombia. Founded around 1741 by Juan de Lemos y Aguirre, it serves as a significant urban center within the region.
The city has a population of approximately 178,000 people and ranks as the fourth-largest city in the department, following Cali, Palmira, and Buenaventura. It is also known by the names La Villa de Céspedes and Tierra Fácil, and is frequently referred to as the Corazón del Valle.
