El Águila is a fictional character featured in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Mary Jo Duffy, Trevor Von Eeden, and Dave Cockrum, the character first appeared in Power Man and Iron Fist #58.
The character belongs to a subspecies of humans known as mutants, who are born with superhuman abilities. El Águila is a swordsman vigilante possessing the power of bio-electricity. Originally an adversary of the superheroes Luke Cage and Iron Fist, he eventually became their ally over time.
