Prado is a city located in Colombia.

The Museo del Prado, or Museo Nacional del Prado, is the primary national art museum of Spain situated in central Madrid. Established in 1819 as a museum for paintings and sculpture, it houses an extensive collection of European art ranging from the 12th century to the early 20th century.

The museum's holdings are based on the former Spanish royal collection and represent the premier collection of Spanish art. Notable highlights include works by Francisco Goya, Hieronymus Bosch, El Greco, Peter Paul Rubens, Titian, and Diego Velázquez. The museum also contains one of the largest collections of Italian masters outside of Italy.
