Natagaima

Natagaima is a town and municipality located in the Tolima department of Colombia. It is situated on the shore of the Magdalena River at an elevation of 326 meters (1,070 ft) above sea level.

The municipality was founded in 1606 by the Spanish conqueror Juan de Borja y Armendia. As of the 1993 census, Natagaima had a population of 21,324, and the area maintains an average temperature of 26 °C (79 °F).
