Oiba is a town and municipality located in the Santander Department of northeastern Colombia. It serves as a local administrative center within the region, situated at various distances from major urban hubs.
The municipality shares borders with several neighboring areas, including Guapotá and Confines to the north, Charalá to the east, Guadalupe and Guapotá to the west, and Suaita to the south. It is positioned approximately 151 kilometres (94 mi) south of the departmental capital, Bucaramanga, and 270 kilometres (170 mi) north of the national capital, Bogotá.
