Bolívar refers to Simón José Antonio de la Santísima Trinidad Bolívar Palacios Ponte y Blanco, a prominent Venezuelan military officer and statesman. He is historically significant for leading the independence movements that liberated several South American nations from Spanish imperial rule.

Known colloquially as "El Libertador" (the Liberator) of America, Bolívar's leadership was instrumental in establishing the sovereignty of what are currently the countries of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela. His legacy remains a central figure in the history of these nations.
