Filandia is a town and municipality situated in the northern region of the department of Quindío, Colombia. It is located on the western side of the Cordillera Central, which is part of the Andes mountain range that traverses central Colombia. The town sits approximately 26 km north of Armenia, the departmental capital.
As of 2023, the estimated population of Filandia was 12,596 inhabitants. The municipality is characterized by its geographic position within the mountainous terrain of the Quindío department.
