Puerto Asís is a city and municipality located in the Putumayo Department of Colombia. It is situated on the west bank of the Putumayo River, positioned downstream from the mouth of the Guamués River and approximately 75 km (47 mi) south of Mocoa.
The municipality borders Ecuador and serves as the most populous municipality within the Putumayo Department. As of recent data, it has a population of 67,211 residents.
