Mocoa is a municipality and the capital city of the Putumayo department in Colombia. Founded in 1551, it serves as a primary administrative center within the region.
The city covers a total area of 5.613 km2 (2.167 sq mi). According to data from the 2018 census, Mocoa had an estimated population of 38,457 individuals.
