Yaguara

Yaguará is a town and municipality located in the Huila Department of Colombia. Its urban center is situated at an elevation of 650 metres (2,130 ft) within the Magdalena River Valley and the Eastern Ranges of the Colombian Andes.

The municipality borders Teruel and Palermo to the north, Gigante, Hobo, and Tesalia to the south, Campoalegre and Hobo to the east, and Tesalia and Iquira to the west. It is located approximately 49 kilometres (30 mi) southwest of Neiva, the departmental capital. Notable geographical features within the boundaries of Yaguará include the Betania Reservoir.
