Aguachica is a city and municipality situated in the southern region of the Cesar Department in Colombia. Geographically, it is positioned between the inter-Andean valley of Magdalena Medio and the Motilones.
The municipality serves as an important commercial and livestock center within the southeast of the Colombian Caribbean. It holds the distinction of being the second most populated municipality in the department of Cesar.
