San Juan de El Doncello, commonly known as El Doncello, is a municipality located in the department of Caquetá in Colombia. Situated on the foothills of the Eastern Cordillera, the town is positioned northeast of Florencia, which serves as the departmental capital.
The municipality is recognized as the first rubber-producing region at the national level, with over 200 hectares cultivated within the Maguaré and Puerto Manrique Inspectorates. Due to its fertile lands and active agricultural operations, El Doncello serves as the commercial capital of Caquetá, characterized by frequent economic traffic from farmers and agricultural personnel.
