Urrao is a town and municipality located in the southwestern subregion of the department of Antioquia in Colombia. It serves as the second largest municipality within the department. The area is bordered by Frontino and Abriaquí to the north, Abriaquí, Caicedo, Anzá, Betulia, and Salgar to the east, and Vigía del Fuerte and the department of Chocó to the south and west.
As of 2015, the municipality had a population of 44,648 people. The town is notably known as the birthplace and hometown of professional cyclist Rigoberto Urán.
