Santa Rosa de Osos is a middle city and municipality located in the northern region of the department of Antioquia in Colombia. It serves as a local administrative center within its geographic area.
The municipality is defined by several neighboring borders. It is bounded to the north by Yarumal and Angostura, to the east by Guadalupe and Carolina del Principe, and to the south by Donmatías, San Pedro de los Milagros, and Entrerríos. To the west, it shares boundaries with Belmira and San José de la Montaña.
