Murindó is a Colombian municipality situated in the Urabá subregion of the department of Antioquia. Located approximately 310 kilometers from the departmental capital of Medellín, the area covers a total landmass of 1,349 square kilometers and sits at an elevation of only 25 meters above sea level.
The municipality is bordered by the department of Chocó to the north and west, while it shares boundaries with Dabeiba and Frontino to the east. To the south, it borders the municipality of Vigía del Fuerte. Due to a lack of public water supply and sewage systems, residents rely on nearby rivers and natural pools for their water needs.
