Alejandría is a town and municipality located in the Antioquia Department of Colombia. It is situated within the sub-region of Eastern Antioquia, covering a total land area of 149 km2.
The municipality is positioned approximately 90 kilometers from Medellín, which serves as the capital of the Antioquia department. It shares borders with several neighboring municipalities: Concepción, Santo Domingo, and San Roque to the north; San Rafael to the east; Guatapé and San Rafael to the south; and El Peñol and Concepción to the west.
