Abejorral is a town and municipality located in the Antioquia Department of Colombia. It is situated within the subregion of Eastern Antioquia and serves as a local administrative center for its surrounding area.
The municipality shares borders with several neighboring regions, including Montebello, La Ceja, and La Unión to the north; Sonsón to the east; the department of Caldas to the south; and Santa Bárbara and Montebello to the west. According to the 2018 census, the population of Abejorral was 17,599.
