Yongcheng is a county-level city located in Henan province, China. It serves as the easternmost county-level division of the province, bordering Anhui province on all sides except for its northwestern and northern boundaries.
The city is characterized by its natural resources, specifically significant coal deposits and some insignificant magnet deposits. In 2014, Yongcheng was upgraded to a provincially directly administered city.
