Shuangshi is a city located in China.
The name is also associated with Xiamen Shuangshi High School, which is known as Xiamen No. 8 High School. This public institution provides both junior and senior division education. The school was originally founded in October 1919 by prominent business figures in Xiamen and a group of overseas Chinese individuals living in the Philippines.
In 1956, the school underwent a reorganization to become a public high school under government administration.
