Hechuan

Hechuan is a district situated in the northern part of the Chongqing Municipality in the People's Republic of China. It is located approximately 54 km (34 mi) from the Yuzhong District, which serves as downtown Chongqing.

The area is geographically defined by its position at the confluence of three rivers: the Jialing, Fu, and Qu rivers. Hechuan has a documented history spanning 1,500 years.
