Beibei District is a district located in the Chongqing municipality of the People's Republic of China. Situated as a satellite town in the north of central Chongqing, the district covers an area of approximately 755 square kilometers (292 sq mi). As of 2020, it had a population of about 834,887 residents.
The district is named after a large rock that extends into the middle of the Jialing River. It is notably recognized for its historical culture dating back to the Republic of China period.
