Yibin is a prefecture-level city located in the southeastern region of Sichuan province, China. It is situated at the geographical junction where the Min River meets the Yangtze River.
According to the 2020 census, the city had a total population of 4,588,804 inhabitants. Of this population, 2,158,312 residents live within the built-up area, which consists of three urban districts.
