Junlian County is a county located in the Sichuan Province of China. It operates under the administration of Yibin city and had a recorded population of 450,176 at the end of 2019, with 151,322 residents living in the urban area.
The region is recognized as one of the most significant coal mining areas within Sichuan. Additionally, Junlian County is situated along the route of the Southern Silk Road, an ancient trade network that historically connected southwestern China to South and Southeast Asia.
