Chengdu

Chengdu is the capital city of the Chinese province of Sichuan. Located in western China, it serves as a major regional hub and is characterized by its significant demographic scale.

According to the 2020 census, Chengdu has a population of 20,937,757. It ranks as the fourth most populous city in China and is notable for being the only city with a population exceeding 20 million that is not classified as a provincial-level municipality.
