Zhangmutou

Zhangmutou is a town located under the direct jurisdiction of the prefecture-level city of Dongguan in Guangdong province, China.

Historically known as Taian during the Ming dynasty, the settlement was renamed Zhangmutou during the Qing dynasty. The name literally translates to "camphor tree head," a designation derived from the extensive planting of camphor trees throughout the town area.
