Shuibu

Shuibu is a town located in Taishan County within the Guangdong province of China. It is situated near the city of Kaiping and serves as an administrative area comprising one residential community and 20 villages.

The town is notable for its historical significance to the Chinese diaspora, specifically regarding ancestral heritage. In 1997, Gary Locke, who served as the United States Ambassador to China and former Governor of Washington State, visited the town to visit his ancestral home in Kut Lung, also known as Lilong.
