Sanshui

Sanshui District is an urban district located within the prefecture-level city of Foshan in Guangdong province, China. Formerly romanized as Samsui or Samshui, the area had a recorded population of 803,226 according to the 2020 census.

The district is notably associated with the "Samsui women," who are recognized as emigrants that traveled to work in Singapore. Additionally, the region is known for a large fireworks explosion that occurred in 2008.
