Renhua County is located in the northernmost portion of Guangdong province, China. It sits at the border of Jiangxi province to the northeast and Hunan province to the northwest. The county falls under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Shaoguan.
The region covers a total area of 2,223 square kilometres (858 mi2). According to the 2010 Chinese Census, Renhua County had a population of 200,354 residents.
