Huanggang

China

Huanggang is a prefecture-level city located in the easternmost part of Hubei Province, China. The city is situated to the north of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and is bordered by Henan Province to the north, Anhui Province to the east, and Jiangxi Province to the south.

The city derives its name from Mount Huanggang, which serves as a geographical landmark for the region. It is also bounded in the north by the Dabie Mountains.
