Gaoyao, also known by the romanization Koyiu, is an urban district located in the western portion of Guangdong Province, China. It serves as a constituent administrative division of the city of Zhaoqing.
As of 2020, the population of Gaoyao was recorded at 741,591 residents. The district is characterized by its location within the broader Zhaoqing municipal region.
