Dengta is a city situated in east-central Liaoning province within Northeast China. It serves as a regional location positioned between the cities of Liaoyang and Shenyang.
The city is located approximately 22 kilometers (14 mi) northeast of Liaoyang, which oversees Dengta. To the northeast lies the provincial capital, Shenyang, situated at nearly double that distance from the city.
