Dahao is a suburban area situated in Shantou, China. It is located along the Haojiang River in the eastern coastal region of Guangdong Province. The geographical boundaries of the area extend westward from Guang’ao Street to the Shenshan Expressway.
The district serves as a significant administrative hub, housing the governmental offices of the Haojiang District. Dahao has a population of approximately 73,000 residents, which includes an estimated 30,000 Overseas Chinese from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
