Zhaotong is a prefecture-level city situated in the northeastern corner of Yunnan province in China. It serves as a regional hub bordering several neighboring provinces, including Guizhou to the south and southeast, and Sichuan to the northeast, north, and west.
As of the end of 2024, Zhaotong had a resident population of approximately 4.804 million people.
