Jianshui County is a city located in the Honghe prefecture of Yunnan province, China. Historically, it served as an important center for the province and continues to function as a significant transportation crossroad in the region.
The area has been known by various names throughout its history, including Lin'an and Huili. While Jianshui is the current designation for the county, the name Lin'an Town is still retained by the location of the county seat.
