Baohe District is one of the four urban districts of Hefei, which serves as the capital city of Anhui Province in East China. The district is situated on the northwest shore of Lake Chao and covers a total area of 294.94 km2 (113.88 sq mi).
The district has a population of 817,686 inhabitants and serves as an administrative division governing seven subdistricts and two towns.
