Jinghai District is a district located in the southwest portion of the municipality of Tianjin, China. It serves as a geographical border region, situated adjacent to Hebei province to the south and west, Xiqing District to the north and northeast, and Binhai to the east.
The district is notable for being the birthplace of Huo Yuanjia. Beyond its administrative boundaries within Tianjin, it functions as a key locality connecting the municipality with neighboring provincial territories.
