Yanliang District is one of nine districts located in Xi'an, which serves as the capital of Shaanxi province in China. It is situated as the northernmost county-level division of the city.
The district is characterized as the least-populous of Xi'an's administrative divisions. Geographically, it shares borders with the prefecture-level cities of Xianyang to the west and Weinan to the northeast, while bordering Lintong District to the south.
