Mawei is one of the six urban districts located within the prefecture-level city of Fuzhou. It serves as part of the capital city of Fujian Province in China.
The district covers a total area of 319.66 square kilometers, with 275.66 square kilometers consisting of land. As of 2020, Mawei had a recorded population of 290,554 residents.
