Zêkog County is an administrative subdivision located in eastern Qinghai Province, China. It serves as the second largest subdivision by area within the Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and shares a border with Gansu province to the east.
The county covers an area of 6,658 square kilometres (2,571 square miles) and has a population of approximately 50,000 people, who are primarily of Tibetan ethnicity. The administrative seat is the town of Chak Qu, which sits at an altitude of roughly 3,700 metres (12,100 feet) above sea level.
