Weihai

Weihai is a prefecture-level city and major seaport located in the easternmost region of Shandong province, China. It is situated along the coast of the Yellow Sea and shares a land border with the city of Yantai to its west.

The city is notable for its geographical position as the closest mainland Chinese city to South Korea. Historically known as Weihaiwei, it serves as an important maritime hub in the region.
