Weifang is a prefecture-level city located in the central region of Shandong province, China. It serves as a significant administrative center with a population that reached 9,386,705 according to the 2020 census. The city's built-up area consists of four urban districts and Changle County, housing over three million residents.
The city is geographically positioned bordering several other regions, including Dongying to the northwest, Zibo to the west, Linyi to the southwest, Rizhao to the south, and Qingdao to the east. To the north, Weifang faces Laizhou Bay.
