Shouguang is a county-level city located in the north-central region of Shandong Province, China. It is situated on the southwest shore of Laizhou Bay and operates under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Weifang.
According to the 2010 Census, the municipality and its surrounding towns and villages had a population of 1,139,454 people. While this figure represents the total resident population, the actual built-up area of the city is significantly smaller than the total municipal territory.
