Shanwang

Shanwang is a location situated in the Shandong province of the People's Republic of China. It is specifically noted for its geological significance and serves as the site of the Shanwang National Geology Park.

The park covers an area of approximately 13 square kilometres and is located about 22 kilometres from Linqu County. It is characterized by distinct volcanic topography and contains fossil-bearing diatomitic deposits from the Shanwang Formation, which dates back to between 18 and 11 million years ago.
