Pingyi

Pingyi County is a county-level division located in the southern region of Shandong Province, China. It serves as the westernmost county within the prefecture-level city of Linyi. The area encompasses a total land area of 1,824.79 square kilometers and had a recorded population of approximately 980,000 in 2001.

The region is known for specific local products, most notably honeysuckle and granite. Geographically, the county is home to Mount Meng, which is recognized as the second highest mountain in Shandong Province and is situated within Bianqiao Town.
