Liaocheng is a prefecture-level city located in western Shandong province, China. It serves as a regional hub bordering several significant areas, including the provincial capital of Jinan to the southeast and Dezhou to the northeast. The city also shares boundaries with Tai'an to the south and the provinces of Hebei and Henan to the west.
