Laoling, which is frequently mispronounced as Leling, is a county-level city located in the northwestern region of Shandong province, China. It shares a northern border with Hebei province and falls under the administrative jurisdiction of Dezhou City.
As of 1999, the city had a population exceeding 640,000 inhabitants. It serves as a regional hub within its prefecture-level division in eastern China.
