Laishan District is a district located in the city of Yantai within Shandong province, China. It covers a total area of 258 square kilometres, which is approximately equivalent to 100 square miles.
As of 2003, the district had a population of around 181,200 inhabitants. It serves as one of the primary administrative divisions of Yantai.
