Jinan

Jinan is the capital city of Shandong province in eastern China. It serves as a major national hub for administration, economics, and transportation, and has held sub-provincial administrative status since 1994.

With a population of approximately 9.2 million, Jinan is one of the largest cities in the Shandong region. The area surrounding the city has been significant to regional history since the earliest beginnings of civilization.

The city is widely known as the "City of Springs" due to its famous collection of 72 artesian springs.
