Jianggezhuang is a location in China associated with the Jianggezhuang Naval Base, also known as Submarine Base No.1. The base is situated on the Yellow Sea, approximately 15 miles east of the city of Qingdao.
The naval facility spans a bay that is roughly 1.2 miles across, with its primary infrastructure concentrated in the eastern section. Notable features of the site include an enclosed harbor protected by breakwaters and a single entrance. The base contains six piers, a dry dock, various service facilities, and an underground submarine tunnel.
